CareBuddie operates as an Australian-registered NDIS provider management platform. All participant, staff, and organisation data is hosted in the Sydney (ap-southeast-2) AWS region and is never replicated outside Australia. This page will be replaced with the full Privacy Act-compliant disclosure once legal review is complete.

Some of our AI-assisted features (drafting progress notes, search summaries, document redaction for family members, and background indexing of signed notes to power search) send a limited, purpose-bound set of participant and staff information to our AI processing provider, OpenAI, so that feature can compute its result. A search query you type is never itself sent to OpenAI along with participant records. Only the background indexing step is sent.
