How long does onboarding actually take?

Most Practice-plan customers are running live within 10 business days. Our onboarding wizard walks you from org setup → first participant → first published shift → first claim batch. Customer Success runs a live 2-hour call with every new customer, and we import your existing staff and participants from CSV for you.
Is our data really kept in Australia?

Yes. All primary data lives in Sydney (ap-southeast-2) from day one. We do not replicate identifiable participant data outside Australia. AI note processing sends only de-identified shift summaries to OpenAI; the raw response is stored alongside the signed note in the audit log.
What if the AI drafts a bad note?

The support worker edits it before signing — the AI draft is a starting point, not the record of truth. The signed note and the raw AI draft are stored separately so you can show an auditor exactly what was changed. Workers can always skip the AI and write the note manually — AI never blocks the close-out.
Do you integrate with Xero and MYOB?

Invoice push to Xero ships in Phase 2, along with payroll exports for Xero and MYOB. Until then, we provide clean CSV exports that match both systems' import templates. A full two-way sync is on our Phase 3 roadmap.
Is CareBuddie compliant with NDIS Practice Standards?

CareBuddie is software used by NDIS Registered Providers — the NDIS Commission registers providers, not software vendors. Our platform is built to the NDIS Practice Standards record-keeping requirements and undergoes annual external penetration testing. We share our security whitepaper and latest pen test summary on request.
Can I try it without talking to sales?

Absolutely. The 14-day Starter trial is fully self-serve — import a CSV of staff and participants, publish a roster, export a claim file, all without speaking to anyone. Most customers do book a demo before buying, but it's completely optional.
